Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Social Media Assistant with a passion for content creation, community engagement, and cryptocurrency culture. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and proactive individual to join our marketing team part-time and contribute to our growing online presence.

You will assist in managing MEXC’s official social media channels, create engaging content tailored to global audiences, monitor crypto market trends, and support the promotion of international events and initiatives.

This role is ideal for individuals who are active on social platforms, follow crypto news and influencers, and enjoy crafting witty, informative, and trend-savvy digital content.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Scheduling:
Assist in drafting and scheduling daily content for platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Telegram, TikTok, and Discord. Posts will include updates on events, product launches, market insights, and community highlights.
Trend Monitoring & Topic Marketing:
Track hot topics and current events in the crypto industry. Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate trending narratives into campaign strategies.
Community Engagement:
Participate in interactions with followers, respond to messages, and help moderate discussions across social platforms. Work with internal teams to maintain a positive and informative brand voice.
Cross-Regional Promotions:
Support the execution of online events across global markets. Help localize content where necessary and coordinate with regional community managers for outreach and engagement.
Performance Tracking:
Monitor engagement metrics and social media performance. Assist in preparing weekly reports summarizing reach, engagement, and campaign effectiveness.
Fan Growth Strategy Support:
Participate in user acquisition campaigns, such as contests, giveaways, and influencer collaborations. Manage community engagement tactics like reposting, shoutouts, and user-generated content drives.
Content Archiving & KOL Coordination:
Assist in archiving KOL (Key Opinion Leader) collaborations and maintaining records of influencer content for ongoing or future campaigns.

Required Qualifications

Social Media Fluency:
Strong familiarity with the functionalities, culture, and content styles of Twitter, Telegram, Discord, and TikTok.
Crypto Awareness:
General knowledge of cryptocurrency, blockchain concepts, major tokens, market dynamics, and Web3 trends.
Content & Communication Skills:
Ability to write in an engaging, humorous, and culturally relevant tone. Strong command of grammar and social media copywriting best practices.
Creative Thinking:
Capacity to propose fresh, interesting content ideas, campaign themes, and user engagement hooks.
Responsiveness & Availability:
Minimum of 10 working hours per week, with the ability to quickly respond to trends or urgent updates.
Collaboration Experience:
Previous exposure to community management, influencer marketing, or digital content coordination is a plus.

Preferred Experience

Hands-on experience in a social media or digital marketing role within crypto, tech, or fintech industries.
Proven ability to grow followers, improve engagement, or contribute to viral campaigns.
Familiarity with content creation tools like Canva, Buffer, Hootsuite, or video editing software.
Past collaboration with KOLs, influencers, or crypto communities.
