Position Overview
As a Brand Executive at Sumathi Holdings, you will play a pivotal role in executing strategic brand initiatives that support our broader business goals. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure brand consistency, build market presence, and engage audiences across digital and offline platforms. This role is ideal for someone with a creative flair, analytical thinking, and a deep understanding of both traditional and digital branding.
You will be responsible for planning and executing branding strategies, managing content creation, analyzing performance metrics, and ensuring all brand touchpoints reflect the company’s identity and values. The role demands someone who is both proactive and detail-oriented, with a passion for storytelling, marketing, and consumer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Execution
- Assist in developing and implementing comprehensive brand strategies in line with company objectives.
- Support the marketing and branding team in translating business goals into actionable marketing campaigns and brand activations.
- Ensure brand guidelines are consistently followed across all departments and marketing materials.
- Maintain a cohesive and engaging brand voice across all customer-facing platforms.
Market Research & Competitor Analysis
- Conduct ongoing market and consumer research to identify emerging trends, competitive positioning, and consumer preferences.
- Evaluate competitors’ branding and marketing activities to identify differentiation opportunities.
- Gather feedback from stakeholders and customers to refine branding efforts.
Content Creation & Social Media Management
- Plan, create, curate, and manage engaging content for platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Prepare monthly content calendars in collaboration with the design and marketing teams.
- Monitor engagement and performance across all platforms and adapt content strategies accordingly.
- Use tools like Canva and Adobe Creative Suite to support visual content needs.
Campaign Management
- Coordinate with digital teams to run paid digital campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads).
- Work with agencies, vendors, and internal teams to execute campaign deliverables and brand activations.
- Monitor campaign performance, provide insights, and optimize based on results.
Brand Performance Reporting
- Prepare detailed monthly performance reports on brand initiatives, digital engagement, and campaign results.
- Analyze KPIs and offer actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Use digital tools and analytics (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics) to track ROI and audience behavior.
Public Relations & Events
- Assist in the planning and execution of PR events, media engagements, and product launches.
- Support media coordination and maintain relationships with press and influencers to boost brand visibility.
- Ensure all events are on-brand, well-executed, and aligned with strategic goals.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a highly motivated and creative individual who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related discipline.
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in brand management, marketing, or social media roles.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of Sri Lankan consumer behavior and media trends.
- Experience in content planning, social media management, and campaign execution.
- Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.), and Meta Business Suite.
- Familiarity with digital marketing platforms including Google Ads and Facebook Ads Manager.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; fluency in Sinhala and/or Tamil is an added advantage.
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail when reviewing content, reports, and branding materials.
- Team player with strong organizational and project management skills.
- A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset with a passion for creativity and brand storytelling.
