Position Summary

The Assistant Manager – Digital Marketing will serve as a key driver of Cinnamon Air’s online growth and visibility. This is a strategic role focused on leading digital initiatives that enhance the brand’s presence, increase online bookings, and drive revenue.

The successful candidate will be an analytical thinker with creative flair—someone who understands the travel industry’s fast-paced nature and is ready to take ownership of campaigns, performance metrics, and digital storytelling. You’ll collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver best-in-class digital marketing execution across channels.

Key Responsibilities

1. Digital Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with overall business goals, revenue targets, and brand objectives.
  • Manage the execution of multi-channel digital campaigns, including paid search (Google Ads), display advertising, social media marketing, email campaigns, SEO, and retargeting.
  • Optimize digital spend to ensure maximum return on investment (ROI) and campaign efficiency.

2. Performance Marketing & Revenue Optimization

  • Focus on measurable KPIs such as bookings, conversion rates, website traffic, and cost per acquisition (CPA).
  • Leverage platforms such as Meta Business Manager, Google Ads, and Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to continuously monitor, evaluate, and adjust performance marketing initiatives.
  • Use insights and analytics to refine user journeys and enhance conversion rates across digital touchpoints.

3. Brand Visibility & Content Strategy

  • Develop and oversee content strategies that strengthen the brand’s voice and increase organic visibility.
  • Partner with influencers, travel bloggers, and digital media to execute digital PR campaigns that enhance brand awareness and authenticity.
  • Work with internal and external creatives to ensure all content—visual and written—meets brand standards and drives engagement.

4. Website Optimization & UX Enhancement

  • Oversee the management of the Cinnamon Air website, ensuring an intuitive and mobile-optimized user experience.
  • Collaborate with web developers, UX designers, and booking engine vendors to improve the online booking journey and reduce friction in the purchase process.

5. Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

  • Lead the development and execution of on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve organic rankings and drive qualified traffic.
  • Conduct keyword research, monitor backlink profiles, and regularly audit the website for SEO best practices.

6. Partnerships & Ecosystem Engagement

  • Build strategic partnerships with tourism boards, hotels, travel platforms, and local businesses to expand brand visibility and referral traffic.
  • Create co-branded campaigns that align with mutual goals and provide value to target audiences.

7. Analytics & Reporting

  • Create and maintain dashboards to track performance across all digital channels using tools such as GA4, Google Data Studio, and social media analytics platforms.
  • Deliver monthly and quarterly performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations.

8. Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Guide and support the in-house social media and digital content teams to meet key engagement and conversion objectives.
  • Coordinate efforts across departments, including sales, IT, and customer service, to ensure alignment and integration of marketing activities.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field. A postgraduate qualification or professional certifications (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Blueprint, HubSpot) is a strong advantage.
  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
  • Proven experience in Google Ads, Meta advertising, SEO, and GA4 analytics.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM platforms, email marketing tools, and marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp, Salesforce).
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing funnel, e-commerce, and conversion rate optimization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Experience in the travel, aviation, or hospitality sectors is highly preferred.
