Position: English Lecturer
Location: Southern Province – Horana Branch
About the Role
Cambridge College of British English (CCBE), a distinguished Gold Partner of the British Council, is currently expanding its academic team. We invite qualified and motivated educators to join our institution at the Horana branch. This full-time role offers the opportunity to teach in Sri Lanka’s largest Cambridge English Preparation Network, fostering academic excellence and global English proficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver structured, high-quality English lessons in accordance with Cambridge English standards
- Promote active student participation in an inclusive learning environment
- Prepare learners for international English certifications through effective teaching practices
- Collaborate with fellow educators to support and monitor student progress
Candidate Profile
- A recognized qualification: HND in English with at least two years of experience OR
- A degree in English, Education, TESOL, Language Translation, CELTA, or TEFL
- A minimum of six months teaching experience (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development
- Weekend availability is essential
