Position Overview
We are hiring a talented Account Manager – Inside Sales to be part of our growing UK & Europe business unit. You will drive sales and channel revenue through a consultative and partner-first approach, focusing on high-value software vendors like Docker, HashiCorp, and Snyk.
As an Account Manager, you will manage the full sales lifecycle—from lead generation to closing—while providing strategic enablement and deep product knowledge to our partners and end clients. This role demands a proactive sales mindset, a strong grasp of the ICT landscape, and exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Ownership: Manage end-to-end sales cycles including prospecting, qualifying leads, quoting, closing deals, and ensuring customer success.
- Territory Management: Serve as the primary sales contact for partners and customers in your assigned region (UK & Europe), focusing on building long-term relationships and expanding accounts.
- Vendor Specialization: Act as a dedicated sales enabler for specific vendors like Docker or HashiCorp—understand their technical products, licensing models, and channel programs.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain a high-quality sales pipeline using Salesforce, tracking leads, opportunities, renewals, and forecasting revenue effectively.
- Performance Metrics: Meet and exceed quarterly KPIs including sales revenue, customer acquisition, partner engagement, and renewal rates.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Sales Operations, and Technical Pre-Sales teams to execute campaigns, events, and product launches.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed on market trends, competitors, and technological developments in the DevOps and cloud-native landscape.
- Client Advisory: Provide consultative sales services, advising clients and partners on best-fit solutions, use cases, and deployment models.
Candidate Profile
Experience & Background:
- Minimum of 4 years experience in account management, partner sales, or business development within the technology or software industry.
- Prior experience working with channel-focused sales models is highly preferred.
- Exposure to enterprise DevOps tools, open-source platforms, or cloud-native technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker) is a strong asset.
- Proven ability to negotiate complex deals, manage renewals, and upsell within existing accounts.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Salesforce, Slack, and Microsoft Suite.
- Experience using CRM systems for pipeline tracking and performance analysis.
- Familiarity with channel enablement tools and SaaS-based sales platforms.
