Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to lead our branch in Colombo. This role is ideal for a healthcare professional with excellent leadership skills, operational know-how, and a deep commitment to client care. You will oversee day-to-day operations, manage frontline staff, and ensure the seamless delivery of our core services.

As the Operations Manager, you will serve as the vital link between clients, caregivers, and the internal business units, ensuring operational efficiency while nurturing a culture of empathy and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Branch Management & Operations:

  • Supervise daily branch functions including scheduling, resource allocation, client service, and reporting.
  • Ensure service continuity by addressing staffing gaps, transport logistics, and client-specific requirements.
  • Monitor operational KPIs and take proactive measures to optimize performance.

2. Service Delivery Oversight:

  • Oversee home care service delivery ensuring consistency, professionalism, and client satisfaction.
  • Conduct routine audits of nursing visits, client interactions, and care plans.
  • Resolve service escalations, field emergencies, and client feedback with urgency and empathy.

3. Team Leadership & Human Resource Development:

  • Directly manage nursing supervisors, care coordinators, and administrative staff.
  • Conduct performance reviews, identify skill gaps, and provide training or mentoring as needed.
  • Foster a positive team culture focused on reliability, compassion, and continuous improvement.

4. Client & Stakeholder Relations:

  • Maintain regular communication with clients and their families to assess satisfaction and emerging needs.
  • Build long-term relationships with hospitals, healthcare providers, and referral sources.
  • Represent the company at community health forums and stakeholder meetings when required.

5. Compliance & Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure all services comply with local health regulations and internal quality standards.
  • Maintain documentation including care records, employee files, service reports, and incident logs.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to implement improvements based on audits and feedback.

6. Strategic Collaboration:

  • Work with the business development team to identify growth opportunities and expand services.
  • Support marketing initiatives through community outreach, event coordination, and partnership building.
  • Provide input for budgeting, forecasting, and expansion planning.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in healthcare operations, home nursing, or patient care management.
  • Proven leadership ability, with a track record of managing interdisciplinary teams.
  • Strong problem-solving, planning, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with health information systems, scheduling tools, and reporting protocols.
  • Fluency in English and Sinhala (Tamil is an advantage).
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally as needed.
