Role Overview

We’re seeking a Social Media Organic + Email Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team. You’ll be responsible for developing and executing engaging organic social media strategies and impactful email campaigns to elevate our brand presence, build community, and drive engagement and conversions.

This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who is equally creative and data-driven. You’ll collaborate closely with content creators, designers, and the e-commerce team to maintain brand consistency and deliver meaningful digital experiences to our audience.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media (Organic):

Create and implement monthly content calendars tailored to different platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn).
Generate innovative, on-brand, and share-worthy content (text, image, video, Reels).
Grow followers and boost organic engagement through storytelling and community interaction.
Conduct competitor research and trend analysis to stay ahead in the gifting and lifestyle niches.
Manage comments, DMs, and customer inquiries to foster community loyalty and ensure customer satisfaction.
Monitor and report on performance metrics including reach, engagement, sentiment, and follower growth.

Email Marketing:

Plan and execute end-to-end email marketing campaigns, including welcome series, promotional blasts, newsletters, and cart recovery flows.
Segment and manage email lists using platforms like Klaviyo or Mailchimp.
Write compelling, conversion-focused email copy aligned with campaign goals.
Optimize subject lines, CTAs, and layouts through A/B testing.
Track campaign performance, report on KPIs (open rate, CTR, conversions), and recommend improvements.
Ensure compliance with email marketing regulations (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, etc.).

Collaboration and Strategy:

Work with product, design, and sales teams to align messaging with current promotions and seasonal launches.
Contribute to brainstorming sessions and campaign planning.
Coordinate with influencers and brand ambassadors for UGC integration and cross-promotion.

Skills and Qualifications

Must-Haves:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
2–4 years of proven experience in social media marketing and email marketing.
Strong command of content strategy, writing, and visual storytelling.
Proficiency in social scheduling tools (e.g., Later, Buffer, Meta Business Suite).
Hands-on experience with email platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor).
Solid understanding of analytics tools (Meta Insights, Google Analytics, email KPIs).
Creative thinking, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.

Nice-to-Haves:

Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Express).
Experience working with e-commerce or gift/lifestyle brands.
Knowledge of SEO and content optimization principles.
