Join Our Team: Accounting Specialist – Fixed Assets
What’s the role about?
We’re looking for an Accounting Specialist with experience in Fixed Assets and Leases to join our global team. In this role, you’ll help make sure our asset records are accurate, follow international accounting standards (like IFRS and IFRS 16), and meet local and global reporting requirements. If you like working with numbers, systems, and teams from different countries — this could be a great fit for you!

What you’ll do
- Keep our global Fixed Asset Register up to date in ERP systems
- Record asset purchases, disposals, transfers, and depreciation
- Track capital work-in-progress (CWIP) and make sure it’s capitalized on time
- Review lease contracts to ensure proper accounting under IFRS 16
- Work with teams around the world to track and tag assets
- Help prepare monthly and yearly financial reports
- Support audit requests and provide necessary info
- Team up with finance, tax, and operations to handle CAPEX and leases
- Check data accuracy and help improve our asset systems and processes
What we’re looking for
You’re a great fit if you have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or something similar (or 5 years of experience without a degree)
- 3+ years of experience in fixed assets and lease accounting
- Knowledge of IFRS (especially IFRS 16)
- Experience working with international or multi-country asset operations
- Strong ERP and Excel skills
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities
- A proactive, self-motivated attitude
Bonus points if you’ve worked in manufacturing or have experience with asset management systems and regional tax reporting.
